Eli von Castaic is a striking looking 12 month old sable German Shepherd. Eli is a lanky teenager who still has lots of filling out to do and is in need of a few good meals. He might be on the thin side but he's a strong, active dog ready to explore the world around him. The shelter staff wrote a huge note on his kennel card that said: "GREAT DOG", which is always a good sign. They were so happy when we got Eli out of there; they said he deserves a wonderful family because he's such a cool dog. He's your typical goofy young dog up for anything. He's fine with other dogs and is great with people. He jumped right into the crate in our van and seemed comfortable during his transport. He has the most gorgeous coat, with beautiful coloring and the slightly longer/fuller coat. (not plush) Although he is already very handsome, he will be stunning once he gains a few pounds and fills out into his 'adult shape'.
